Jewelry care

We Care About Keeping Your Jewelry Looking Perfect.

Learn a few simple rules for everyday use of jewelry to enjoy its beauty for as long as possible.

How to Care for Costume Jewelry?

Avoid contact of costume jewelry with water, all liquids, and detergents. Remember that even the slightest moisture negatively affects costume jewelry. Also, be cautious of daily use cosmetics like hairspray, deodorants, and perfumes, due to the alcohol they contain, which may cause your jewelry to tarnish and lose its shine.

Remember to remove your jewelry before sleeping and during grooming procedures, makeup, sports activities, or household chores. This will help prevent abrasion, dirt, and accidental damage.

Where to Store Jewelry?

When storing jewelry, it is important to keep it away from air. Jewelry hangers or boxes without covers are not suitable for costume jewelry. It is worth using a special, fabric-lined jewelry box with many small compartments, which will separate individual items and prevent them from rubbing against each other or undergoing chemical reactions.

Jewelry Care in a Few Simple Steps

  • Each product should have its own separate packaging, ideally lined with soft fabric.
  • Jewelry should not be mixed, especially if made of different precious or non-precious metals.
  • Jewelry should not be rubbed or wiped due to the plated precious metal coating, which may be damaged. Frequent wiping may cause damage or wear of the precious metal coating.
  • Perfumes and other cosmetics should not be used directly before or after putting on jewelry, especially those based on alcohol.

* IMPORTANT: In very rare cases, situations occur where the individual properties of a person, independent of external factors, may cause tarnishing or blackening of metals upon contact with the skin – something beyond our control. If you notice worrying changes in the product, contact us.
